On Saturday, December 14, Ladder 1, Engine 2 and Engine 3 responded to a
smoke from cooking in a restaurant on Washington Street.
On Thursday, December 12, the department responded to a fire in an
industrial building on Lowland Street. The fire was contained to the
stamping machine, and smoke was evacuated using electric smoke ejectors.
On Saturday, November 23, the Holliston Fire Department escorted the
Holliston High School Varsity Girls Soccer team back into town after their
Division 2 state championship victory game in Worcester.
On Monday, November 18, the department responded to a rollover crash on
Winter Street. Crews from Rescue 1 used struts to stabilize the vehicle and
cordless extrication tools to gain access to the patient. The patient was
transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center, University Campus in
Worcester.
On Monday, November 18, the Leadership Team from Miller Elementary School
dropped off a banner of support for members of our department, in response
to the line of duty death of a Worcester Fire Lieutenant the previous week.
On Saturday, November 16, members of the department practiced search and
rescue techniques as part of their Firefighter I/II training.
On Monday, October 14, the department responded to a barn fire on Concord
Street.
On Wednesday, August 21, members of the department presented at the Jr
Police Academy being held by the Holliston Police Department at the High
School.
On Saturday, July 13, the ambulance and paramedics from Hopkinton Fire
responded to a crash in the center of town involving multiple vehicles. A
patient was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.
On Wednesday, July 10, the department responded to a grill fire with
extension to side of the home on Mill Street.
On Monday, July 1, during company based training, Engines 3 and 4 trained
together on Hillside Drive.
On Monday, May 6, the department responded to a kitchen fire on Whispering
Lane.
On Sunday, April 21, the department responded to a structure fire at
Kamitian Field on Hollis Street.
On Thursday, April 11, the ambulance and paramedics from Medway Fire
responded to a medical emergency on Hopping Brook Road. A patient was
transported to a landing zone on South Street which had been secured by
Engine 4. The patient was transported to Mass General Hospital in Boston.
On Wednesday, February 13, Engine 1 responded to a snowmobile fire on
Highland Street.
On Monday, February 4, the department responded to a barn fire on Washington
