On Tuesday, November 26, the Holliston Fire Department said its final farewell to Captain Michael E. Curnyn of Engine 3. Captain Curnyn served the community and department faithfully from December 1967 to November 2013. Photos © Dick Bartlett

On Saturday, March 16, the Holliston Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle rollover on Norfolk Street. The decision was made to transport two patients to trauma centers by helicopters. Lifeflight 1 and Boston MedFlight both responded to a landing zone secured by Engine 1 at Stoddard Park. A third patient was transported by ground to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham. On Monday, February 4, members of the Holliston Senior Support Foundation provided refreshments for the Holliston Fire Department during a regularly scheduled training meeting.
