One patient was transported to the landing zone at the High School for transport by Boston MedFlight 2 to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. A second patient was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center. On Tuesday, November 30, personnel from the Holliston Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Dalton Road. (photos (c) Dick Bartlett) On Wednesday, October 20, personnel from the Holliston Fire Department investigated smoke from an electrical problem in a Union Street home. On Friday, August 13, personnel from the Holliston Fire Department joined mutual aid personnel from Ashland, Bellingham, Hopkinton, and Hopedale in battling a 3 alarm structure fire on Purchase Street in Milford. (photos (c) Dick Bartlett) On Friday, July 9, two Holliston ambulances and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a motor vehicle crash on Adams Street. Based on the injuries of one of the patients, a helicopter was requested to transport her to a trauma center. That patient was transported to the landing zone at Kampersal Field on South Street, before being transferred to the crew of Boston MedFlight 2 for transport to Boston Medical Center. Additionally, two patients were transported to Milford Regional Medical Center, and two patients were transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham. (photos (c) Dick Bartlett) On Sunday, July 4, Holliston Fire personnel responded as part of a Fire District 14 Dive Team activation for a capsized canoe on Mill Pond in Westborough. Holliston personnel also participated in the Fire District 14 Dive Team activation on Monday, July 5 with the recovery operation. (photos (c) Dick Bartlett) On Saturday, July 3, the backup ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a motorcycle crash on Washington Street. Based on the injuries to two patients, two helicopters were requested to transport both patients to a trauma center. The patients were transported to the landing zone at F.E.M.A., before being transferred to the crews of Boston MedFlight 3 and Boston MedFlight 1 for transport to Boston Medical Center. (photos (c) Dick Bartlett) On Sunday, May 23, divers and support personnel from the dive team responded to Hopkinton State Park to assist the Massachusetts Southern Fire District 14 Dive Team with a search and recovery effort. (photos (c) Dick Bartlett) On Thursday, April 8, the Holliston Fire Department ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a medical on Highland Street. Based on the injuries of the four year old injured by a tractor, the decision was made to request a helicopter transport the patient to a trauma center. The patient was transported to the landing zone at F.E.M.A., before being transferred to the crew of Boston MedFlight 2 for transport to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. (photos (c) Dick Bartlett) On Saturday, April 3, the Holliston Fire Department ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a medical on Pinecrest Road. Based on the injuries sustained from a fall down a flight of stairs, the decision was made to request a helicopter transport the patient to a trauma center. The patient was transported to the landing zone at the High School, before being transferred to the crew of New England LifeFlight 1 for transport to UMass/Memorial Medical Center, University Campus in Worcester. (photos (c) Dick Bartlett) On Tuesday, March 16, the driver of a vehicle which had rolled over on Washington Street by Balancing Rock was extricated members of the Ladder/Rescue company using the Jaws-of-Life. The patient was treated by crews of the Holliston Fire Department ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS, before being transported to Mass General Hospital by Boston MedFlight 3. (photos (c) Dick Bartlett) On Saturday, January 30, members of the Holliston Fire Department trained with members of the MA Southern Fire District 14 Dive Team at the Hopkinton State Park. (photos (c) Dick Bartlett) On Friday, January 29, the Holliston Police and Fire Departments responded to a report of a truck off the road on the access to Pleasure Point. The driver and passenger of the truck denied injury, and refused transport to the hospital by ambulance. On Friday, January 29, the Holliston Police and Fire Departments responded to a report of a tree which had fallen across the street on Wilkins Road, which had pulled down wires. NStar Electric and a crew company were notified. On Tuesday, January 26, crews from the Holliston Fire Department and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a rider who had fallen from a horse on Adams Street. Boston MedFlight 2 landed at the landing zone on Washington Street, which had been secured by Engine 4. A 15 year old female from Franklin was transported by BMF to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. (photos (c) Dick Bartlett)
