On Wednesday, November 11, the Holliston Police and Holliston Fire Departments responded to a motor vehicle crash on Concord Street.  One patient was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center. [photos © HollistonReporter]

On Wednesday, September 23, the Holliston Police and Holliston Fire Departments responded to a report of wires down on vehicles on Whitney Street.  Eversource, Verizon and Comcast responded to make repairs.

  On Wednesday, September 16, Cayla Olson of Norfolk Street was honored at the Selectmen's meeting for her actions at a medical emergency in July.  She received a Lifesaving Award from the Holliston Police Department, a Certificate of Excellence from the Holliston Fire Department, and a Young Hero award from the Department of Fire Services.

On Sunday, September 13, members of the Holliston Police and Fire Departments were honored by the American Legion.  Shown are award recipients Lt. John Gagnon and Lt. James McGowan, with Deputy Jim Moore and members of the Board of Selectmen

On Thursday, August 27, Holliston Fire Chief Michael Cassidy received his 15 year pin from the International Association of Fire Chiefs at their Annual Conference & Expo in Atlanta, recognizing his years of active membership with the organization.

  On Monday, August 10, the Holliston Fire Department responded to a rollover on Cross Street.  MassDEP was also notified.

On Monday, August 3, members of Engine 2 trained at the Cedar Street fire station in Ashland.

On Wednesday, July 1, the Holliston Fire Department responded to a rollover on Prentice Street.  MassDEP was also notified. 

On Saturday, June 20, the Holliston Fire Department and Events EMS responded to a report of a child who had fallen out a window.  A 2 1/2 year old male was transported by Boston MedFlight to Boston Children's Hospital from a landing zone secured by Ashland Fire.

On Sunday, June 7, the Holliston Fire Department and Events EMS responded to a motorcycle crash on Central.  A 67 year old male was transported by Boston MedFlight to Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston from a landing zone secured by Engine 1 on Central Street.

On Wednesday, May 25, the Holliston Fire Department accepted delivery of its new Engine 3.

On Monday, May 18, the Holliston Fire Department and Event EMS responded to a fall on Mohawk Path.  A 24 year old from New Bedford was transported to a landing zone at the Warren Conference Center in Ashland for transport by LifeFlight to UMass/Memorial Medical Center, University Campus in Worcester.

On Saturday, April 25, the Holliston Fire Department and Events EMS responded to a motorcycle crash on North Mill Street.  A 24 year old Hopkinton resident was transported to a landing zone at the High School for transport by Boston MedFlight to Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston.

On Friday, April 11, the Holliston Fire Department participated in the parade for the Five Town Special Olympics School Day Games hosted at the Holliston High School.  Department personnel also presented our athletes with their medals during the award ceremony.

On Monday, March 9, the Holliston Fire Department responded to an exterior gas line damaged by a chunk of ice which slid off the roof of an industrial building on Cross Street.

On Thursday, February 26, the Holliston Fire Department responded to an alarm activation at a Lowland Street industrial building.  The alarm was caused by a partial roof collapse in the shipping and receiving area.  There were no injuries.

  On Tuesday, February 17, the Holliston Fire Department responded to a garage fire on Highland Street.  The fire was contained to the attached garage and attic above the garage.  One resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham by the ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS.

On Friday, February 13, the Holliston Fire Department responded to a chimney fire on Howard Street.  The fire was contained to the chimney, and did not extend to the house.

On Sunday, January 25, the Holliston Fire Department responded to a house fire on Washington Street.  Crews quickly extinguished a fire in a second floor bedroom.

On Saturday, January 24, members of the Holliston Fire Department trained on ice rescue techniques at Lake Winthrop.
